The manicure would call for a perfect shape of the nail after it has been clipped. Scissors are not capable of such a result. A nail salon would not be able to survive if they encouraged using such tools to perform a manicure. I am confident that if one was to take a poll at most nail shops, most all of their customers would prefer nail clippers over scissors. Not only is it common sense but its also more safe to use actual devices created for that specific task. So to end the case of nail clippers vs. scissors, I find favor in nail clippers.
